The JMA will hold its 6th annual Ride to Remember in the beautiful cities of Skokie & Chicago on Thursday, June 10th, through Sunday, June 13th.
As always, this event will feature great food and great rides, as well as a visit to the new Holocaust Museum located in Skokie, IL.
Check-in commences Thursday afternoon at the Doubletree Hotel in Skokie where you will also receive information for the weekend, followed by an Old fashioned Kosher Chicago Hot Dog Cook Out.
On Friday (the official Ride to Remember day), we will travel 63 miles of police escorted scenic roads with the ride culminating with a parade honoring Holocaust survivors who will be in attendance at the new Illinois Holocaust Museum.
Lunch will be served at the museum with a featured speaker. Shabbat dinner and services back at the hotel round out the day.
On Saturday, choices of several organized rides will be available. A great dinner at a local restaurant owned by a Holocaust survivor is planned, along with fabulous music and entertainment.
For those staying through Sunday, The Chicago Jewish Folk Festival is being held within a short distance from the hotel.
